DEPARTMENT Corporate Security Operations & Protective ServicesPOSITION Executive Protection OfficerGrade Level Job Summary Assist the Manager of Security Operations and Protective Services to protect all bank property such as buildings equipment and premises. Assist as necessary with site security surveys and officer audits for corporate facilities. Assists as necessary with the protection of bank employees and assets during events and executive protection. A good candidate will have executive protection experience strong interpersonal and customer service skills as well as some business experience. Responsibilities Requirments Physical Security Assist Security Operations Manager with corporate security special projects as necessary. Conduct and assist with annual corporate building risk surveys and officers audits. Develop corrective actions to upgrade the physical posture of the location surveyed and provide these corrective actions to Security Operations Manager. Protective Services Provide for the safety and personal security of the BBVA Compass executives located in our Houston Tower offices. Travel with executives as needed on short notice. Be able to provide emergency first aid CPR AED if needed. Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities via investigation proactive means site visits and pre planning security at events. Perform vehicle transportation functions as necessary and maintain the executive transportation vehicle to include the mandatory equipment (road emergency kit medical trauma kit defibrillator etc.) Maintain proficiency in relevant protective services training as required by Executive Director Protective Services. Maintain proficiency in defense tactics and physical fitness Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodical professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups managers clients customers and the general public. Professional appearance and demeanor Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays Maintain flexible schedule and on-call hours as needed. Performs all other job related duties as assigned. Help the security department foster good relationships and promote corporate responsibility among all lines of business during special events. Must be able to articulate in a competent & professional manner with various lines of businesses regarding security related matters. Assist Security Operations Manager with the BBVA Compass Executive Protection Program. Reporting Prepare reports as requested by Security Operations Manager.
