Super cool pair of Steelcase office chairs circa 1981. Discontinued model 454 320. The condition of the chairs is as follows Overall good condition. There is an ink stain on one of the chairs at the top right corner of the chair back. I have worked on the stain and it does come off albeit slowly. I believe if you steam clean it you ll have better luck removing it completely. Please see photograph. The plastic on the backs of both chairs have scratches due to prior placement against a wall or something else. One chair is worse than the other which I have depicted in the photograph. The other chair scratches are minimal. Other than the flaws described the chairs are really terrific The chrome legs are fantastic super sharp & shiny w the original pads still on the feet. The chair padding is solid the upholstery is in very good condition (other than the one stain) with no rips or burns or shredding. The swivel on the chairs is smooth & easy.
