How Do You Roll (creative sushi shop) JOB DESCRIPTION - SHIFT LEADER Role To lead and support all company standards of quality taste presentation service cleanliness and customer experience through training coaching and mentoring employees on every shift. Responsibilities - Onboarding training coaching and developing all new employees per HDYR standards and using HDYR systems. - Conducting regular one on one meetings with staff. - Leading daily shift huddles and providing overall motivation for staff during shifts. - Holding employees accountable for all HDYR standards and policies including using systems following procedures and keeping the restaurant clean. - Identifying and leading coaching and teaching to resolve any issues that may slow down or affect customer experience negatively. - Identifying and effectively relieving roadblocks and operational challenges. - Being the face of the company by maintaining high energy and commanding presence in the front of house. - Effectively coordinating and communicating with both staff and guests at all times. - Executing truck orders using HDYR systems and maintaining HDYR food cost standards. - Identifying any and all operational issues in either of both front and back of house during shift and communicating to Regional Lead (or Store Lead) to resolve issues quickly. - Having the knowledge of all POS transactions and current promotions including catering and loyalty - Completing all daily checklists consistently and in a timely manner holding staff accountable for completing those checklists and by using HDYR standard systems. Requirements - Completed training on all store level positions - Drive for success - Strong communication skills - Basic math and computer skills - Reliable transportation - Clean and neat appearance - Previous food experience - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous managerial experience - May be subjected to pre-employment drug testing
