Admissions Counselor

Job Description The Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting new students for business real estate and leadership courses program providing admissions information to prospective students assisting in creating communication materials and representing organization in the community. The recruiter will work closely with the Director of Admissions and report to the Executive Director. Duties and Responsibilities Increase the number of students enrolled. Assist in developing coordinating and implementing procedures for recruiting prospective students. Assist in developing recruiting and enrollment marketing materials including letters website postings brochures email etc... Develop and maintain relationships with high schools colleges and businesses. Explain benefits and objectives of the s programs to prospective students and parents. Explain and interpret admissions policies and procedures to prospective students. Explain courses within degree and certificate programs to prospective students and maintain detailed knowledge of all academic programs. Maintain regular phone email and mail contact with prospective students. Attend organizational meetings and any recruiting events nationwide. Ensure that proper records are kept for all interviewed and accepted candidates and ensure their confidentiality. Generate reports on recruiting activities and accomplishments. Respond to inquiries from students parents schools and other organizations. Assist in planning and execution of recruitment and retention activities. Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned by Directors. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Training For Admissions Counselors We Will Train You In The Following Knowledge of marketing and sales techniques. Knowledge of curriculum program offering at the school and admissions requirements. Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues. Ability to proactively recruit prospective students. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to gather and organize recruitment data compile information and prepare reports. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to work effectively with diverse populations.
