Building Engineers principal role is in the upkeep and repair of property plant and equipment. Duties include light construction carpentry electrical plumbing mechanical metalwork and landscaping. Physical facilities include 68 apartments commercial kitchen laundry rooms offices and resident common areas such as lounge library and dining room. Maintenance assistants are also responsible for designated outdoor upkeep including installation of seasonal decorations on the buildings placement and upkeep of grounds. Principal Responsibilities-Check Maintenance Log at least twice per shift to pick up assignments and requests. Repair andor install various items systems andor components as may be required e.g. broken windows hand rails lighting systems HVAC units electrical outlets plumbingsewer systems etc....
