As I am sure you can imagine this is a labor of love that is quite time consuming. His health is declining due to a brain tumor and my family and I have chosen to keep him at home rather than putting him in a facility. My time with my grandfather is amazing and I am happy to be able to care for him but it has inhibited me from working full time anymore. I am also a veteran of the US Army. I was previously working for the US Postal service before making the choice to care for him full time. I am a father and this choice is limiting me financially because I am not often able to leave the house. I would like the opportunity to start up a home based business so that I can still provide for my children as well as be there to care for my grandfather during the time when he needs me the most.
