Reference job 15-083. Position Summary Strategically coordinate and tactically deploy the Revenue Management processes and procedures for multiple hotels to maximize each hotels room revenue. Manage rate and inventory controls through the extranet and CRS in addition to working with others on monitoring and adjusting pricing strategies maintaining distribution channel integrity etc. Develop create best practices spreadsheets and technical development. Report to Senior Director of Revenue Optimization. Objective Improve market penetration and room revenues of the assigned cluster hotels through Aston distribution channels including but not limited to Aston website CRS and various third party channels. Assist department in technical aspects of the department (writing macros developing creating excel spreadsheets etc.) Property Objective Exceed the year over year RevPar index growth for all the assigned properties by meeting or exceeding market segment targets. Online Objective Meet or exceed the budgeted targets of all assigned properties online business through optimizing occupancy and rate appropriate to the management contract. Website Objective Meet or exceed the budgeted targets of all assigned properties Websites business through optimizing occupancy and rate. CRS (SynXis) Objective Meet or exceed the budgeted targets of RETAIL segment of all assigned properties CRS business through optimizing occupancy and rate. Position Responsibilities Strategize and deploy revenue goals in assigned channels of distribution with respective Property Director of Sales Sales Managers Work with respective online market segment managers directors to ensure that deployment of pricing strategies and also aligned with the strategic seasonal merchandising initiatives. Develop and process property s rate build and leverage extranet management or an extranet management tool in rate and inventory adjustments to achieve desired revenue goals. Develop and process property s rate build and leverage thee CRS (SynXis) in rate and inventory adjustments to achieve desired revenue goals. Be proactive and make appropriate recommendations to respective assigned property General Manager and Property Director of Sales Sales Manager to achieve desired revenue goals. Responsible for the IMR (inventory Management Request) process for assigned properties and able to cover other areas as necessary. Provide graining required on mechanics strategies processes to SMR or to the field regarding Aston Revenue management practices. Technical understanding and ability to navigate through Excel spreadsheets develop pivot tables create and link spreadsheets etc. Write macros scripts. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Hotel management Economics Mathematics Business four year college degree diploma in Revenue Management or equivalent additional experience. Two plus years of experience in hotel revenue management. Experience in managing extranets and working with Extranet Management tools. Ability to create pivot tables and write macros scripts. Proficiency with MS Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook (specifically able to create charts graphs statistical tables) Must have mathematical skills with clear understanding of ratios percentages mark-up discounts ROI RevPar etc. Knowledge of basic applications of sales and marketing activities. Able to access information read interpret and analyze reports develop action plans and make recommendations. Optimum mix of work experience in various Hotel Disciplines Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver s license.
