A local manufacturing company is seeking a talented Project Manager to direct a team of CAD Operators assist Project Managers in coordinating tasks perform Procurement duties and be responsible for the profit margins on assigned projects.REQUIREMENTSAssociates Degree in Construction is a must Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a PM in the Glass field. Must be able to gain a working knowledge of custom aluminum curtain wall within 6 months Must have some working knowledge of AutoCAD. Excellent mathematics skills are required. Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) Reading and understanding architectural and structural drawings and specifications. Be responsible for directing a team of 1-5 CAD operators to perform Shop drawings and fabrication drawings. Perform spreadsheet material take offs (Excel) and ordering. Procurement Duties (Must be able to perform all items listed below) Perform part take offs from shop drawings and architectural drawings. Consolidate and sort spreadsheet information for manufacturing use Prepare Request for Quotation forms analyze quotes for best price and service prepare and send out purchase orders coordinate and track supplier orders check take offs review shipping and invoicing from suppliers assist with invoicing to customers assist project managers with coordination tasks Must be able to travel for up to 3 days at a time occasionally Local candidates only please.
