SUMMARY The Project Engineer will work on projects related to cost reduction yield optimization customer solutions and reliability improvements in a food manufacturing environment.RESPONSIBILITIES Implement capital projects related to plant operations - project justification development from explore feasibility through startup. Direct supervision of engineering and construction contractors Lead projects including hand off from projects to operations Provide engineering support for continuous improvement initiatives Develop and maintain structured project approaches developing and maintaining a three year capital plan. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Chemical Mechanical or other engineering discipline 3 years of process engineering or project management experience Ability to travel 10% of the time Good understanding of project management Good understanding of continuous improvement maintenance and reliability PI basic understanding of ACAD MS Project PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong foundation in thermodynamics fluid mechanics mass material balance and process design 5 years experience in a food production environment
