Etchings and Watercolors by Degas and Forain

Many important 19th-Century French Impressionists portrayed Parisian ballet dancers in their art. The most notable Impressionist master whose art included dancers was Edgar Degas. Jean-Louis Forain was another Impressionist who based works on ballet dancers. (In fact it was Degas who introduced Forain to the Parisian ballet scene.)
