Casey s bio Casey Marcotte (barn manager riding instructor) Casey has been a competitive dressage rider for over ten years receiving scores in the mid to upper 60 s or low 70 s on a regular basis in intro through first level. Despite a devastating injury that stunted the progression of Casey s mare Athena Casey has managed to rehab her and bring her along through second level work. Currently Athena enjoys (along with Casey) educating up and coming classical dressage riders and very small children. While dressage is Casey s main discipline she also believes that well-rounded riders and horses are always the most successful. Casey coach s beginners through intermediate huntseat jumping riders on the foundations of gymnastic jumping the importance of flat work and having a good seat and feel for the horse. With five years of natural horseman ship apprentice work and five more putting it to use Casey enjoys and specializes in re-rehabilitating abused poorly trained or difficult horses. With the philosophy that Training horses is more like having a conversation with them and every conversation is different.
