I am offering a Refurbished pair of Brass Navigation Lanterns. Lanterns of this type were usually mounted facing forward and lighted while underway at night. Based on the design craftsmanship and materials used they appear to be mid-1900 s replicas of an early 1900 s port starboard Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Corporation Lantern. The quality is not up to PERKO standards but they not cheap China reproductions. Both lanterns measure 9 tall x 5 wide x 5 deep and they weigh 2 pounds each. This type of lantern was designed to have only one mounted on smaller vessels using a slide-in divider to keep the red and green light separated. They both have 3 x 4 dioptric (ribbed) lenses All four are clear glass coated on the inside with colored laminate (two red and two green). Also the lighting is 110 volt including 8 power cords with in-line switches. The lenses have some colored lamination loss and the chimneys have very slight stress cracks in the brass.
