Assures unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery.Responsibilities Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. Operates the unit with direction from the laboratory with details outlining tank parameters extraction efficiencies and waste matrix. Assures unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery. Assures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is not consistent with Standard Operating Procedures. Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures. Ensures that work meets compliance standards within facility operation. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.Requirements Must currently have or have the ability to obtain a Maryland State WWT License. Must have high pressure plant operations experience. Must be able to work any shift including weekends. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred. 2 years CES operations experience. 1 years of operations environment experience. Related field experience of PLC Program Logic Controller. Knowledge of pumps feed systems and automatic controls. Demonstrates complete proficiency in CES treatment operations and CES board operations. Proficiency in Windows based applications.Physical Requirements Able to perform general office skills Always requires speaking and listening and acuity Requires standing walking carrying stooping crouching sitting grasping and reaching. May require lifting pulling and or pushing up to 10 lbs. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. Some positions also require a pre-hire medical exam.
