We are a mature couple visiting Kauai for the first time from December 19 to January 2. If you are off-island those weeks or have a 2nd car to rent we are a reliable safe non-drinkers trying to save money on a car rental. My husband is a driver trainer and drives a tour bus. An older car is fine. Any info is helpful
