Entry-level Canine & Feline Nail Technician position in the greater Polk County service area. This is a position perfect for hands-on animal lovers who have a genuine interest in providing pets with a revolutionary pain and trauma free nail care experience. Candidates must be comfortable with working on a flexible contract commission basis. A typical day in the life of a Technician 1. Arrive at client s home 2. Greet client 3. Check in to Scheduling POS software 4. Set up equipment 5. Check Ears Feet Sanitary Areas Anal Gland Inform client of additional services needed 6. Service Pet(s) 7. Check out and input charges in to Schedule POS Software collect and input payment book and enter follow up appointment(s) 8. Pack up equipment 9. Head to the next client and repeat Technicians may also manage these same activities at day evening boutique or pet store events. To take advantage of this opportunity a candidate shall Be interested and motivated to work on commission and tips Be available to work a self-guided flexible schedule Be willing to participate in 4-6 hours of unpaid technical and administrative training (tips are split during the training process) Be ready willing able and comfortable with communicating with humans before during and after appointments Be able to lift pets up to 80 pounds and handle all types of pets with all types of temperaments (primarily dogs some cats bunnies guinea pigs) Be comfortable using and having responsibility for provided proprietary custom service tools Own a reliable vehicle that is able to store mobile equipment including a small folding table and small custom service tools as well as have a working 12volt accessory outlet for power Own a tablet with cellular capability or a smart phone and be willing to use it for business Be comfortable using a state of the art scheduling and POS service management application Be willing to work primarily outdoors The Ideal candidate must have some experience using standard mechanical hand-tools be physically ready willing able and eager to fulfill the requirements mentioned above.
