his is a beautiful piece. A perfectly-functioning glider-rocker. Old yes but not worn. This is made like nothing you can buy today. Invincible. No tears or rips in original chair but I have had it covered with a tailor-made slipcover in a soft green charmeuse fabric. The cover alone cost more than 100.00 and goes with the chair. The original chair beneath the cover is in very good shape a patterned cobalt blue covering. Extremely comfortable don t know if this design is still made today and if it is would probably be very expensive. Tag inside chair says WOODMARK ORIGINALS and made in High Point South Carolina. The cover on this chair was custom made fits tightly with upholstery snaps and even with the loveliness of the soft green material machine washes easily. I always let it dry on the line and place it back on slightly damp. I have always loved this rocker. There is no reason to let it go except that it is time to downsize and I think it will make a beautiful accent chair in someone s home. God Bless
