Company Name Chung Wa Dae Restaurant Title Book Keeper(NOC 1231) Terms of Job Full- time & Permanent (Minimum 37.5 hours per week) Wage 20 Hourly Location 535 Clarke Rd Coquitlam BC V6J 3X4 Key responsibilities Review all accounts payable invoices for accurate account coding and enter to accounting system Adjust employee tip reporting amounts for shared tip pools Reconciles Cashier Registers and orders and receipts Reconcile vendor month end statements to accounting records Review and reconcile petty cash and other deposits Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility tax and other bills Prepare and files tax returns and monthly sales tax Review the daily cash deposits reconcile to the daily sales report and enter to accounting system. Investigate and resolve all discrepancies. File all invoices to vendor files and keep all vendor files up to date Print vendor checks match invoices to checks obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly Required Skills and Experience Completion of secondary school and Minimum 3 years of experience in related field are required Completion of a college program in accounting bookkeeping or a related field or Courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with 3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required. Solid knowledge of accounting principles. Strong attention to details and accuracy Proficient in MS Office and other related software Newcomers Aboriginal and youths are welcome to apply.
