Hi my name is Shannon. I d like to offer my services to you. I m available Tuesdays-Fridays. I m a non smoker. I m compassionate hard working and trustworthy. I ve dedicated the last 7 years to caring for the elderly disabled and their needs. My last job was for a doctor in Long Beach MS. I was with him for 6 years. While employed there I cared for him his wife and their home working 24 hour shifts. Dr. Kitchings had Parkinson s Disease and Dementia his wife (Mrs. Ann) had a massive stroke which left her unable to walk talk transfer and care for herself in every way. My daily duties included (for the both of them) grooming bathing dressing toileting(incontinence) companionship cooking cleaning medication management therapy(range of motion) transportation and I accompanied them both to doctors appointments. This was a very rewarding and fulfilling position for me. They became my family. Sadly Dr. Kitchings passed away in September of 2015. I m looking for the same opportunity to share my love and care for another elderly disabled person who needs me. I have excellent references. Most of the women in my family are loving caregivers dedicating their lives caring for people who need them. I have been around this my whole life. I have a nephew with Down Syndrome. I love giving back and seeing to it that people whether disabled or elderly live happy and fulfilled lives. I hope you consider me for your loved one. Thank you.
