Our client located near Hanover NH is seeking a Design Engineer to design and detail high quality on-time stamping dies to be used to manufacture parts according to customer specifications. Responsible for various complex designs using CAD. Determine feasibility and tooling estimates for new part quotations. Prepare the design concept for tool requirements and for fabrication of the tool. Participate in blank development and prototyping as appropriate. Support QS9000 and continuous improvement programs. Must have strong communication analytical statistical and mathematical skills with knowledge of Wire EDM and Vertical EDM. BS in Industrial Engineering and a minimum of five years design experience in a metal stamping environment.
