Terminal Operating Specifics Regional Van drivers are home on average every other week for their required DOT resetand may be near home periodically during the week. Regional Drivers will average 2500 miles per week with the average length of haul being 450-500 miles. Capacity Type To Recruit Recent Graduates from approved truck driving schools OR Experienced Drivers- Six months experience or more Positions Available 1) Regional Drivers Regional Van drivers are home on average every other week for their required DOT reset and may be near home periodically during the week. Hiring Radius Must live within 60 miles of the Jacksonville FL terminal or Auburndale FL terminal. Home Time On average drivers will be home every other week for their required DOT resetand may be near home periodically during the week. Schedule Shift VAN WORK The regional sleeper fleet runs throughout the Southeast and I-95 corridor and is a 24 7 operation. Equipment Regional Van drivers will use assigned sleeper units. All OTR tractors have QUALCOMM communication. Tractors are not permitted to be taken home and must be parked at the terminal during any downtime. Drivers may pull pneumatic tanks dry vans or refrigerated trailers. Transmission New units are all automatic. Each auto transmission is a ten speed. Horse Power 330 380- 380 hp to start off. Engine Type Mack. Sleeper 70 Mid-rise- 6 4 person can stand up without touching the ceiling. Can have a refrigerator TV VCR and a small closet includes a small workstation. Speed Governor set for 62 MPH due to our commitment to safety. Wages Pay Regional Van drivers are paid by the mile based on their driving experience. Weekly gross pay will average 650- 850. Compensation will greatly depend on work volume and driver s maximum utilization of daily weekly DOT hours of service. Training Period Training will take place at the CCC Jacksonville FL terminal and take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks with a driver trainer. During this time the trainee will work the driver trainer s schedule.
