Professional Dog Walker in DeKalb IL Area I ve been walking my dog for approximately 4-5 years everyday sometimes twice a day. Sometimes he gets company from my parent s dog and brother s dog. My dog (Hatch) knows how to go around trees and signs so that he won t get tangled. We chase squirrels and rabbits as they show up on our walks. Your dog will learn that as well. I have a pick up bags on my leash so they are always picked up after. I have a GPS watch to calculate distances and time. 20 Minute Walk - Approx 1 Mile - 10 40 Minute Walk Approx 2 Miles - 15 60 Minute Walk Approx 3 Miles - 20 If you have a custom walk that s fine as well. We don t go when it s below 15 degrees. It usually gets to about 25 degrees in the afternoon on cold winter days.
