This person will be responsible for evaluating business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets market trends new technology customer business issues and the competitive environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Review and validate all incoming special product request Provide product management efforts i.e. new product developments marketing strategy and execution promotional strategy supplier relationships etc. Work with independent reps dealers and the sales department to maintain sales through marketing and promotional events Monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs Manage the planning and coordination for national and regional tradeshows Manage multiple departmental teams in order to provide all requested collateral for large bid proposals Collaborate internally with engineering quality operations and customer service teams to properly market strategic company initiatives and programs Ownership of technical information product library QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s Degree in business or marketing required 3 years of experience with products in the fixed seating or contract furniture industry required Ability to correctly prepare bid proposal documents in an accurate and timely manner Must be able to travel up to 20% for domestic tradeshows Technical background with general understanding of manufacturing materials and processes Experience with Microsoft Office programs and SalesForce preferred Must be detail oriented and able to manage and take ownership of several projects in various stages at the same time MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
