We are a busy dealership in the Ventura expanding our Business Development Department team and in need to two ambitious and sharp Business Development Specialist s that love being on the phone. Just as technology changed how we get information about purchasing a vehicle our busy schedules also changed. Most visits to the dealership are now scheduled for the best possible personal level of service to the customer while they compare vehicles find available incentives to get their best price on their specific vehicle and person circumstance. Your primary functions but not limited to (You may do all or some of these functions on any given day) Use common sense effectively use a computer use common software programs and manage data in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Calling and receiving a large volume of calls- Our team answers approx 500 a week Respond to internet generated leads professionally and gain the appointment. Our team answers approx 700 per month Send and receive emails to set appointment confirm appointment set or follow up. Gain the appointment through warm and hot leads.No cold calls. Greet appointments and make introductions to the Floor Manager. Call email the customer after the sale to ensure the customer has enjoyed their purchase. Use Social media and Reputation Management Applications and software that promote positive purchase experiences. Update the CRM with detailed notes on contact with customer and relevant information. Collaborate with Customer Relations Manager BDC Manager and Marketing Manager on projects that are within the scope of your job and experience to achieve department goals. We sell vehicles in the triple digits per month. Use of our CRM system - AVV and Dealer Socket Use of Social Media and Reputation Management Applications and programs Product Knowledge- Become FCA factory certified in our vehicle line up. Effectively use the many software tools available to you for continued product knowledge reference quick links to share with your contact and more. The right candidate will Have prior automotive BDC experience (Highly desired but not required) Call center type experience (making taking hundreds of calls) Comfortable making phone calls and overcoming objections to gain the appointment Ability to speak read write and understand English Ability to use proper use of English punctuation and grammar for professional correspondence Bilingual is plus Grasp the simple understanding of how internet business development works Able to learn quickly take notes watch training videos and quiz Willing to learn and apply your new knowledge for your success - we ll train the right person with a majority of these skills and attributes and wants to grow professionally. Ability to type (not hunt and peck) and use the keyboard - you will be entering a large amount of data Able to write a professional email with proper use of English grammar and punctuation. Familiar on the use of smartphone applications- Understand the basics of using Social Media Reputation Management CRM data entry experience Sales skills- overcoming objections selling the value of a time saving appointment Take direction as needed and work independently to maintain goals Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Get along well with others- this a business development and sales team. Strong desire to achieve goals set by department and exceed them to your financial advantage We Offer Semi flexible schedule full benefits a fun team environment that you ll enjoy coming to work for and a good pay plan. This is not a commission pay plan. Your average should run 2500- 3500 but your appointment setting skills influence and great phone demeanor will allow you to easily surpass that. Work Schedule Semi flexible 40 hours a week with rotating Saturdays and Sundays and some evenings. You would then have days off midweek during that week. Our evenings and weekends are our busiest times and often the most lucrative. If your available during these hours it s a double plus for you and the money you make. As long as the department has coverage at all times- we can create a schedule that works for everyone. Work Environment Clean state the art building with office space.
