SUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in the engineering industry. This individual will guide and direct activities associated with a successful product launch including new manufacturing systems equipment and repeatable processes that result in a production process that capably achieves required resin quality. RESPONSIBILITIES Designs and implements manufacturing processes and equipment using lean techniques. Leads APQP processes as the Program Manager for all new product launches by performing systems analysis and design on new projects identifying. equipment installation costs and performance comparisons investigating machinery performance. Coordinates internal and external resources necessary to complete continuous improvement projects by working with various departments to oversee project details. Provides support in the area of JIT labor utilization safety and quality system compliance and technical expertise support to customers and sales department. Leads root cause corrective action teams to resolve customer issues and or production variances. Develops and implements a capacity management and improvement system. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. 2 - 5 years engineering experience preferred. Knowledge of accounting and budgeting required. PLC programming knowledge preferred. Knowledge plastic and injection molding preferred. Ability to travel 25% of the time with peaks up to 40%.
