Aspen Art Museum Aspen CO Develops implements and manages a Facility Management and Maintenance Program including HVAC equipment maintenance schedules plumbing electrical IT security grounds kitchen equipment and structural elements including the woven screen wood roof truss glass curtain wall and elevators. Maintains accurate records and is responsible for maintaining all state and local building regulatory requirements. Oversees all custodial requirements of the building and grounds. Reviews and coordinates with the curatorial department how new art installations may affect the building. Oversees the work of the facilities assistant sub contactors and temporary workers and acts in the capacity of Project Manager for capital improvement projects. Requirements and Qualifications High School diploma or GED college technical school or training in electrical plumbing HVAC construction management engineering or a related field. Specialty certifications preferred. PLUS FIVE years progressive work experience and supervision in facility maintenance and management which included complex computerized control systems. Any combination of education training and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for the above qualifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other job related computer software programs and equipment. Must possess and maintain a Valid Colorado Drivers License and satisfactory driving record throughout employment. Must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.
