This bank is a 60 s or later reproduction of a turn of the century mechanical bank titled Hometown Darkies. This one is titled Hometown Battery. It is made of cast iron. The same process was used to make this reproduction as the original was made. Molds were made from the original bank hand cast in sand then hand assembled and painted. This is still functional. It is 9 1 4 long and stands 7 tall. It weighs empty 4 lb 10 oz. OR MAKE AN OFFER
