Responsible for the day to day warehouse operations including but not limited to staff management fulfillment of daily orders processing product returns and balancing posting and reporting of operating activity. Responsible for warehouse adherence to company policies and procedures. Hires trains coaches and develops team members for personal career growth and meeting company performance expectations. Communicates clearly and directly with employees regarding operational changes and improvements. Communicates clearly and directly with employees on performance expectations productivity and accountability. Provides routine performance feedback to staff and conducts effective performance appraisals. Handles conflict effectively. Addresses performance management issues promptly and according to company policy. Communicates disciplinary issues effectively with employees and Human Resources. Communicates and collaborates with team members and other departments to resolve customer service and compliance issues. Monitor assess and evaluate the warehouse team s performance and productivity on a daily weekly and monthly basis. Displays good time management skills. Coordinates work activities and sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion in a timely manner. Collaborates regularly with third party logistics partners. Monitors performance and assists with problem resolution. Conducts weekly and monthly team meetings as appropriate. Prepare operational and performance reporting. Ability to read and comprehend instructions correspondence and memos and able to effectively write general correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization. Works independently needing guidance in only non-standard or complex situations. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk sit and occasionally move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Required Skills Previous warehouse supervisory experiences and thorough knowledge of UPS WorldShip Software. Must be self-motivated collaborative able to implement operational changes and have excellent communications skills. High School education or equivalent required associate or bachelor s degree preferred with 5 years of related experiences.
