1. Watsu 1 & 2: 15th to 25th October 2019 Watsu is the world s first form of Aquatic Bodywork and the principle form of Aquatic therapy for rehabilitation and eventually, became a form of mind and body relaxation. Watsu was developed in 1980 by Harold Dull. The Kinesitherapy (movement) working on the stretching structure in the water allows the myofascial connection and releases to take place creating joint mobilisation, fascia mobilisation and neromobilisations. 2. Watsu 2 & 3: 3rd to 12th December 2019 3. Birthlight (UK) Yoga for Maternity: 14th to 18th July 2019 Birthlight Yoga for Maternity aims to enhance women?s comfort during pregnancy and labour and to reduce the need for medical intervention in childbirth with carefully selected and tested adaptations of yoga. ?Birthlight Yoga? teachers will be able to impart to pregnant and labouring women the understanding and skills they require in order to be positively involved in their birth experience, however the process unfolds at the time. Rather than information, women take body memories and awareness to their labour space: this is how yoga is effective. ?Birthlight Yoga? has been developed in collaboration with midwives over 20 years. The course was inspired by Amazonian rainforest midwives and by women using their breath to ?exhale push? without strain irrespective of previous experience of yoga or levels of fitness. 4. Birthlight (UK) Aquanatal Yoga: 4th to 8th November 2019 The Birthlight Teacher Training Course for Aquanatal Yoga is a five day accelerated course that imparts pre-natal and post-natal aqua exercise skills. Aquanatal Yoga is a gentle and highly effective form of exercise for both pregnant women and new mothers. It allows them to stretch without straining and overheating and to access deep relaxation easily. 5. Birthlight (UK) Baby Swimming: 15th to 19th December 2019 The Birthlight Teacher Training Course for Baby Swimming is a five day accelerated course that imparts baby swimming practices for babies 3 to 18 months. Upon successful completion of the five day course, participants will receive The Birthlight Baby Swimming Teacher?s certification which entitles them to teach as probational baby swimming instructors. 6. Birthlight (UK) Toddler Swimming: 20th to 21st December 2019 This birthlight short course fills the gap between parent and baby swimming and children?s swimming instruction. During the transition to independent movement when toddlers? physical contact with their parents is often diminished, Birthlight Toddler Swimming supports loving and playful contact and provides a positive shared experience. Birthlight Toddler swimming classes are popular with fathers.
