Direct support worker needed to work with 8 year old high functioning non-verbal autistic boy in North Kingstown. Knowledge with PECS helpful experience a plus but willing to train the right individual. This position is part-time. Hours are in the evening during the week with one day time weekend day. Job Duties Include Implementing a service plan that is developed by the child s family and the agency. Providing guidance and redirection for the individual with special needs. Presenting opportunities for rewarding social interactions. Keeping data collection on service plan goals. Wages depend on experience 10- 12 per hour. Non Smokers preferred. BCI is required.
