PART-TIME PERSONAL ASSISTANT Morning and evening assistant for 54 year-old quadriplegic male. Times can be flexible currently 9 am and 8 pm 8.50 paid personally by patient. Morning includes personal hygiene draining urostomy and colostomy dressing transfer to chair (with a sling and Hoyer lift). Once the attendant has been trained and gets the routine down it takes 2 hrs or less. While in training figure on 2 hours. Evening includes Brushing teeth evening medications transfer to bed changing from leg bag to nighttime urine drainage bag. Mon Wed and Fri both urostomy and colostomy bags are changed. The other nights they are emptied. Some nights include folding and putting away laundry. Once the attendant is trained it s one hour or less. One and hours during training. The times can be separated i.e. one person does weekday mornings. Another Person does week nights. Another person takes weekends. We are flexible on timing and blocks assigned.
