CNC Laser Turret Punch Operator (Metal Fabrication & Finishing Job Shop) 1st Shift Full-Time Monday Friday 6 45 a.m. 3 30 p.m. Lunch from 10 45 a.m. 11 30 a.m. Primary Responsibilities Operate CNC Laser(s) (Amada Mazak Mitsubishi) while minimizing laser burrs slag Operate 33-Ton CNC Punch Presses (Amada Pega 357) Change punch tooling & sharpen maintain tooling as needed. Keep tooling organized Maximizing machine up time Operate automated material handling system (training provided) Responsible for loading unloading material and unloading parts Responsible for verifying parts are correct (per print drawing) when complete Install initiate and monitor prewritten machine programs Unload parts and occasionally deburr parts if needed Perform and document basic part inspection Perform daily and regular machine maintenance Perform minor machine troubleshooting Measure material Always maintain a clean and safe work cell Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 3-4 years of CNC laser operation and machine maintenance Must be proficient in manufacturing blue print reading and have good math skills Must be able to use simple measuring equipment Experience using Virtek Laser QC scanner a plus (training provided) Understanding of G-Codes a plus Ability to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment and adhere to deadlines along with the ability to be flexible.
