Employment Parameters for Maintenance Automotive Technician Job description The requirements of this position are for a technician skilled in General Maintenance Vehicle Inspections Minor Repair Work and Vehicle Detailing. This position involves daily customer interaction. Positive attitude is required. Duties Include General Maintenance of Vehicles Vehicle Inspections Oil Changes Tire Rotations Tire Mounting and Balancing Tire Repair Fluid Exchanges Battery Testing and Installation Lamps and Bulbs Filters and Vehicle Detailing. Successful candidate will also be a general shop helper including assisting Technicians and performing skilled tasks as needed. This position includes general facility clean-up organizing duties including lawn maintenance and snow removal. Requirements Should have some current verifiable work experience in the industry. Should have own tools appropriate for position. Some ASE certifications as well as formal education is helpful but not required. Madison College students and grads welcome to apply. Clean driving record with valid driver s license required. Must be physically able to perform duties including continual lifting of tires rims batteries and other heavy items.
