Start Date of Employment As soon as possibleJob Description In- Home Caregiver is required for a 7-year-old childWork Setting Employer s home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note This is NOT a condition of employmentJob duties Supervise and care for child while parents are at work Oversee child activities such as meals and rest periods Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development Tend to the emotional well-being of child Plan prepare and serve meals for child and may perform light housekeeping duties as well as laundry Take child to and from appointments Maintain a healthy environment in the home Experience and Qualifications Completion of high school At least 6 months of Caregiver training or equivalent or at least 7 months of full-time paid experience as a child caregiver in the past three years CPR and First Aid an asset Able to speak write and read English Criminal record check required Terms of Employment Full-time 30 - 40 hours per week (may require evenings and weekends schedule will be given in advance) Benefits include extended health care 2 weeks of paid holidaysPosition open and available to Vulnerable youth Aboriginal youth new immigrants to Canada or persons with a disability and others.How to Apply Please submit your application to maryangeles0309(at)yahoo.caWe thank all those who apply.
