I am offering an original (not a reproduction) antique brass Telescope. Based on the quality design and the materials used it was most likely made in England or the Netherlands during the late 1800s. It is a single draw Quartermaster type spyglass with a sunshade and swivel eye piece lens protector. It measures 21 closed 28 extended (add 2 for sunshade) and has a 1 aperture (object end). The main tube leather has been replaced with line-wrapping and the draw tube is signed L.J. HARRI AMSTERDAM who was a world famous dealer in navigation instruments. It has a very clear view for an antique 25 power spyglass that shows the wear and tear of extended sea duty.
