Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions collections and disbursements Obtains and reviews information regarding price changes or menu specials. Greets guests as they enter and exit the dining area. Itemizes and totals guests food and beverage purchases and ring them to the register. Collects cash checks or charge payments from guests & makes change as needed. Counts money in cash drawer at beginning and end of each shift. May reconcile check cash receipts and charge sales with total sales to verify accuracy of transactions. Maintains professional appearance at all times clean and well-groomed as per handbook standards. Displays an enthusiastic and positive approach to all assignments. Education and or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to speak and understand the primary language(s) used by the guests who typically visit the work location. Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money accurately.
