Folk Art and Friendship Class Rug Hooking

During this one-day workshop learn the basic techniques and the history of traditional rug hooking and several ways to finish a piece. You will also learn to transfer a design and how to prepare and cut wool strips. Pre-registration is required. About the instructor Mary Lynne Naples has been hooking since 2001 when she retired from a 30-year teaching career. She is a member of the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists. She enjoys demonstrating at local events speaking about rug hooking for community groups and teaching beginners. She is a member of the Woolwrights ATHA chapter and the Brandywine Rug Hooking Guild.
