Have a thorough understanding of PCs desktop and laptops operating systems and other associated hardware and software software Proficiency in Windows physical virtual server technology Windows 7 and Windows 10 OS competencies Microsoft Office 2013 2016 installation and upgrade experience Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 environment Basic to intermediate LAN and WAN Networks Thorough understanding of the VPN technology Good ticket management and technical trouble shooting skills Excellent interpersonal and phone skills with a positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Scheduling and coordination with large number of customers for multiple tasks. Close attention to detail follow-up with an extreme sense of urgency and perseverance Strong team effort mentality IT Support Technician duties Provide on-site technical support at ASCO facilities including monitoring LAN switching routers servers wireless equipment network closets (IDF and MDF) and PCs Log and document all issues and assigned tasks using internal ticketing system Utilize existing automation solution along with other service-specific tools and technologies to perform required tasks at remote locations and users Follow established processes and procedure working closely with a Network Systems manager and Security officer Escalate relevant incidents to IT management based on complexity or time constraints Proficient in Windows 7 Windows 10 operating system in an Active Directory environment as MS Office 2010 2016 and Office 365. Travel to remote sites and assist with on-site technical support network equipment management and new policies implementation Assist with projects associated with a Call Center technology and phone systems migration utilizing VoIP technology Provide on-site technical support at facilities including monitoring LAN switching routers servers wireless equipment network closets (IDF and MDF) and PCs
