Pregnancy Pelvic Floor Fitness Class

This two hour class is offered on the following dates and times (choose one) Thursday July 28 from 6 30-8 30 p.m. Tuesday August ninth from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday September 13 from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday October 11 from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday November 15 from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday December 6 from 6-8 p.m. This class is an introduction to the amazing pelvic floor muscles and how they work along with other muscle groups to support you during pregnancy and childbirth. Learn a set of simple postural breathing and movement exercises to help you build strength and suppleness in the pelvic floor. Learn how to use these muscles most effectively during labor and childbirth and get a head start on early postpartum recovery. This class will cover Basic anatomy and function of the pelvic floor muscles How to optimize pelvic floor muscle function during pregnancy and childbirth Movement and positioning during labor that can enhance pelvic opening Exercises you can do at home to help you stay strong during pregnancy and promote the...
