The Oil Field Roller Cone Drill Bit Lamp This original roller cone oil rig drill bit was a mud field rescue. I cleaned all the rust off and was able to get the wheel bits to free spin. It is mounted on a maple base with a gear from some old farm equipment. The wiring to the light is through conduit which adds to the industrial look. The lamp shade is simulated rawhide with leather trim and goes quite well with the look of the drill bit.
