We are seeking a Manager of Assurance Services to lead the financial reporting department of our rapidly-growing full-service CPA firm client located north of Portland Maine. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial reporting engagement audit planning risk assessment and additional audit procedures and evaluation of evidence. Preparation of financial statements compilations reviews note disclosures and any required additional schedules while developing and cultivating professional client relationships. Experience preparing financial statements bookkeeping QuickBooks tax preparation audit and assurance is required. Solid understanding of both FASB and GASB is required. Must have strong communication analytical organizational client service multi-tasking and computer skills (MS Office required). QuickBooks and Engagement software proficiency is a plus. Minimal travel required. Experience working with municipalities and non-profits is a plus. Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related discipline and a minimum of four years experience in a CPA firm with directaudit assurance and financial reporting experience and a proven ability to lead audits through to completion is required.
