Accounts Payable Administrators Kamloops - Job ID 1811 Position Overview Our client is seeking two Accounts Payable Administrators that will be reporting to Controller in a fast paced environment. You will be Responsible for o Reviewing purchase documentation for completeness and compliance with policies and procedures o Processing disbursements to vendors suppliers and other external parties o Follow-up on account statements and other discrepancies regarding payment of accounts o Reconciling sub-ledgers to ledger account balances including bank statements and inter-company o Matching purchasing documentation with vendor invoices o Communication with vendors regarding payment and billing issues o Code validate and enter employee expense reports o Assistance in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and statements o Maintaining and reconciling asset schedules and other accounting records o Preparation and posting of general and adjusting journal entries o Other duties as needed in support of the finance function Requirements o Post secondary education in accounting or finance o Completion of or enrollment in an a professional accounting designation (CGA CMA) o Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS office productivity software o Prior work experience in an accounting role using JDE s (JD Edwards) software is an asset Job Type Contract City Kamloops British Columbia [BC] Compensation - Hourly To Be Negotiated TO APPLY Only applications submitted at excel.bc.ca opportunities or emailed to the above address will be accepted.
