Ideal candidates will be influencers with customers in order to build a deepernetwork. The territory manager should have the ability toposition themselves as influential sources within the customernetwork and network to become a trusted advisor to existing andpotential customers.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to Identifying potential market opportunitieswith contractors distribution lumber dealers retail and co-ops Generating leads by expanding the depth ofproducts services used by existing or new customers Utilizing social media to gain further insight in themarket i.e. industry trends market practices as well as using it tocommunicate with customers Providing insight intopricing strategies and providing management with all reportsand paperwork relating to the operation and development of the salesterritory strategies product information and other competitorinformation which may significantly impact GAF Teaching with insight at product knowledge meetings viadistributor contractor meetings Attend customershows conventions and other industry related activitiesRequirementsBachelors Degree is highly preferred. Ideal candidates will havedemonstrated and proven sales experience with a background in thebuilding material industry roofing is preferred. Intermediateproficiency in the MS Office suite is needed.
