The position is responsible for providing strategic thought leadership process ownership and innovation to drive the brand s asset strategies forward. Functional center of excellence and system wide support to franchisees engaging in remodeling replacements and new unit development. Establish and enhance processes designed to ensure KFC s design standards are properly executed efficiently. Architecture & Designq Build the Brand through owning and driving KFC s asset innovation and design strategies to deliver consumer relevant insights driven and cost effective assetsq Finalize holistic roll out of one-system image standard Vision 3.0 Modern Legacyq Finalize and maintain evolve KFC Building and Site Design Reference Manual (DRM) and codify as brand standard s library for assetq Ownership of all KFC corporate and franchise architectural plan submittal review approval processes including post audit to brand standards after project completion. Insure development activity is consistent registration policies contractual obligations and uphold integrity through standard conformance. Deliver support pipeline insight through data integrity and tracking.q Maintain brand prototype plans multi-brand plans remodel templates etc.q Develop and deliver effective one-system communication productivity and process through a combination of education online tools and third-party support. Strategicq Develop robust prototype sets and supporting guidelines q Develop a sustainability platform for the asset. Partner with Yum team on BDPs benchmarking etc.q Provide thought leadership to help define and develop asset strategies and processes to drive profitable growth and image upgrade pace. Engage with Franchisees and internal partners to find solutions to development barriers to drive growth and image upgrades.q Drive process and discipline deep into the organization to deliver world class one system commercial business mindset and improve the KFC business model. Drive focus on cost management value engineering and investment returns. Generalq Support processes and policies related to all KFC Development Services offered to franchise systemq Partner with marketing to insure proper brand positioning and consumer insights are incorporated into asset designs artwork graphics and interior exterior brandingq Provide industry insights and competitive benchmarking to monitor and inform retail design trends and their potential application for KFC.Ad hoc projects Minimum Requirements q Demonstrated proficiency in related technical areas including architecture plan change management concept design consumer insights construction management facilities management.q 10 years of demonstrated organizational impact in Architecture Design field with increasing responsibility in commercial and retail restaurant design related areas.q Strong internal motivation intellectual curiosity logical thinking and a desire to have a large commercial impact on the organization.q Excellent interpersonal & team skills with ability to present to Senior Leadership and Franchisees. Intentionality to lead direct reports with track record of career development.q Clear and effective communication across all media (face to face by phone in writing) with people at various levels whether internal or external to the organization.q Strong project management and interpersonal skills are a necessity. Ability to partner well with cross functional departments franchisees and work with all levels of management including senior management. q Ability to efficiently manage workload well with shifting priorities. Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment and generate actionable recommendations. q Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of architecture development related systems including AutoCAD or Revit MS Streets & Trips GIS proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite (including Publisher).BA BS in Architecture Engineering Design or related field required.
