Our client a small growing company located in Hudson NH is seeking a customer and team-oriented Metrology Calibration Technician to support all aspects of its calibration disciplines (e.g. Chemical Dimensional Electromagnetic Mechanical Process Thermodynamic and Time and Frequency) troubleshooting and repair services. Responsible for performing calibration testing troubleshooting and repairs on-site and at customer facilities (some overnight travel is required). Will also collect data provide measuring and test equipment reports and documentation to certify the verification and calibration of the measuring and test equipment. Must be able to maintain and follow ISO related procedures (9000 and 17025) as well as customer specific procedures. Must be able to use various diagnostic tools and standard equipment and design and develop new calibration and test aids as needed. Must have in-depth detailed knowledge of the metrology mathematics and applicable technical disciplines required. Must have excellent customer service communication basic computer and time-management skills. Associate s or Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of three years of mechanical metrology experience is required. Additional formal training in metrology precision measurement equipment courses training or certification in calibration and repairs or additional CMM experience would be a plus. Valid driver s license is required. Highly competitive hourly rate and benefits package including relocation assistance from within the Continental United States.
