This individual will be responsible for directing the implementation and management of sterilization validation microbiological analysis and environmental control for site activities as well as providing technical guidance for evaluating and assessing compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and ensure maintenance of training programs in regards to sterilization and environmental control Manage day to day activities in the lab Facilitate and conduct testing as needed to support daily demands for production and new product introduction Maintain total and complete understanding and compliance with all applicable regulations standards mandates etc. Document procedures equipment and accept reject criteria of sterilization and environmental process and documentation Conduct or participate in audits (vendor and internal) on an as-needed basis Interface between the lab and other departments areas to ensure test reports are clearly written and reach a final conclusion QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in biology or a related field required advanced degree preferred Minimum of five years of lab management experience required 7-10 years preferred Minimum of five years of industrial or related experience required Knowledge of ISO standards for good laboratory practices required Experience handling inspections with regard to the lab preferred Knowledge and experience working in various quality systems preferred MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
