Job Purpose Responsible for daily operations of strategic procurement within the Transmission Construction group. Assists the Director of Category Management and the Category Manager in leading key teams and integration activities and is able to manage multiple complex bid negotiations and strategies at one time. Executes standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned categories. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers. Provides a balanced focus on customer service and cost savings. Identifies and captures new savings opportunities.
