System Administration Teradata tools including Viewpoint portlets System work load management using TASM Ferret tools. Performance optimization SQL Tuning Perform system level and application level tuning. Operational Support for performance related issues. 24x7 On-call Support. Development of proactive processes for monitoring capacity and performance. Teradata Metrics collection and reporting. Well versed in PDCR and TASM reporting. Security Administration. Strong knowledge of Teradata Tools and Utilities pertaining to ETL and BI tools Monitor SLA compliance. UNIX shell scripting. A dynamic personality who can multitask and help the teams where needed. Solid technical and problem solving abilities Experience in Teradata Intellicloud on AWS is preferred Big Data Technologies. demonstrate superior knowledge of Teradata performance tuning database features big data technology performance tuning and design methodologies excellent communication analytical and leadership skills. Teradata experience working knowledge of TASM strong application tuning and a willingness to learn new technologies. AWS Intellicloud experience is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment are a must
