A set of 3 Antique Gilt Brass Figural Candelabra with Prisms and Marble Bases. Circa 1800 s Two are 14 1 2 tall Girandole with white marble bases of 1 x 4 x 6 . Each Girandole measures 3 x 5 oval shape in circumference and have 9 - 6 1 2 hanging crystal faceted prisms. One hanging crystal is missing from one candelabra Third is 16 1 2 tall with white marble bases of 1 x 4 x 5 3 4 with 3 Girandoles. Center has 9 - 7 hanging crystal faceted prisms other 2 have 5 - 5 1 2 crystals on each All 3 marble bases covered in green felt. Circa 1800 s. A Girandole (from French in turn from Italian girandola) is an ornamental branched candlestick or lighting device often composed of several lights. Girandoles came into use about the second half of the 17th century and were commonly made and used in pairs.
