I saw a non native exotic bird in a wooded area in Newtown last night at 5 30 pm. This is a male bird and has probably escaped from somewhere. He appeared healthy and is extremely colorful and beautiful. If you have lost such a bird please contact me and I am happy to show you where it was seen. I ask that you describe the bird to me so I know if it is your missing bird and the rightful owner. This bird should probably not be out in the wild.
