Leia - Female Domestic Shorthair

Leia was born February 2016 (approx) rescued off the streets of Covina. Leia was born along with Luke in a busy mall parking lot and hid underneath a trash compactor. She kept warm from the conveyor on it and they felt safe. An employee at the mall saw them and knew that we were working with local feeders to clean up the parking lot. She started feeding these two and socializing them at a young age. She contacted us and when we couldn t find a foster due to everyone being full halfway into kitten season I stepped up and took them. Between the traffic the homeless drunks messing with the cats the dumpsters for extra food the cold and the coyotes they wouldn t last long. They have been some of the most loving playful smart kittens I ve fostered this year. Leia loves to chase the laser toy and waits for the sun in the morning to hit the wall just right with a reflection for her to pounce on. She loves to get right up next to you on the couch or when you sit down for a chat. She likes to be held but will need a little work on that. She will sit on your lap however all day. She travels great in a carrier and feels safe in it. She greets new people pretty quickly as long as she feels safe and she s playing with them in no time. Cookies will get you everywhere with her and she loves her sisal scratch post. She is a confident little thing and will stay on the smaller side (aside from her elephant sized brother ) Leia is a keeper and one you will fall in love with.
